Understanding What is Share?

If the company have the worth of Rs. ten lakh and say company have 1000 owner that the cost of the company shared ownership is Rs. 1000 per owner. Now say you have 1 share of that company which you buy for Rs. 1000 it mean you are also one of owner of that company and you have rights to claim on the profit which is earned by company. Suppse that company earn the profit of day Rs. 2 Lack and company distribute the profit among their shareholders then each share holder in the company will get Rs. 200 as dividend. Now if you want to sell the ownership from the company that is SHARE of that respective company you go to the place where purchaser are there, that place is known as SHARE MARKET.
